Timmy's Poem

Whilst chewing a pencil the other day, I wrote a little poem, with help from the female pup...

My ears are shaped like triangles
My eyes are soft and brown,
My nose is long with freckles on,
You'll never see me frown

My paws are white with brown bits on
My fur is warm and soft,
My collar's red with paw prints on,
I don't know what it cost!

I love my puppy playmates,
I think they call them kids,
We lie and tumble on the floor
While that black cat is hid!

My tail has a small white tip
Right at the very end,
It looks as if it touched some paint,
It wags and sometimes bends

Kimmie shares a name like mine,
I get a bit mixed up,
Especially when they use my name
For brown stuff in a cup!

Who is that other Timmy?
His doughnuts are the best,
That double double's not too bad
Wish I could try the rest...

When I'm grown up, I'll go for hikes
Play ball or frisbee too
Can't wait to show the world my stuff
And live my life with you!

  1. Hey Timmy, I have a feeling that in a short while you and that black cat will be thick as thieves. It was so great to meet you the other day...and I think of you every time I see the marks on my forearm. ***smile*** But I don't mind because it was a blast rough housing with you.
